Project scope and fees
Any professional engagement requires a written proposal or contract describing scope, deliverables, assumptions, schedule, fees, payment milestones, client responsibilities, and change handling. Estimates are not binding unless a signed agreement says otherwise. Invoices and payment timing are set out in the project agreement.
Intellectual property
Rivetline and its licensors retain rights to pre-existing tools, methods, and materials. Client-specific deliverables, licenses, and transfer of rights are governed by the applicable written project agreement, including any payment conditions. Third-party materials remain subject to their respective terms.
Warranties and limitations
The website is provided as available without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Rivetline disclaims implied warranties for the website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any project warranties, acceptance procedures, remedies, and liability limits must be stated in the signed client agreement.
Changes and governing use
We may revise these website terms by updating this page. Continued use after a posted change constitutes acceptance to the extent allowed by law. The law and venue applicable to a client engagement will be specified in its signed agreement; absent such an agreement, these terms do not purport to select a governing jurisdiction that has not been established.
